I am so thankful for the wonderful years we had together. I know you wanted to go on and be with mom, but I was so grateful you stayed here with me, even if it was only for a short while. I will always miss your big blue eyes and your kind words when I came to see you. You never ended a visit without saying "God Bless you dear", thank you for that dad. I was so blessed to be at your side when you took your finally breath, and the way you looked at me with those big blues with such peace.
